They enjoyed spending time in Island Park at the Reeder cabin. On April 14, 1972, he married Bonita Burtenshaw in the Idaho Falls Temple. He attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He served as a teacher, librarian, custodian, and Cub Scout Den leader.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visiting his grandparents and cousins was always a highlight. John had a happy childhood with his older brother, Dan younger brothers, Tom and David and sister, Nancy. John was born December 23, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, to Seth Darrell and Mary Lou Foutz Reeder. John Bruce Reeder, 71, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his home on January 16, 2023.
